Brand Governance

The Office of Marketing and Communications oversees the management and protection of the Maryland brand, including its guidelines, visual identity and enforcement of brand standards. OMC is committed to fostering a positive culture of brand governance across campus, and it is the responsibility of the campus community to serve as dedicated stewards of the brand.

Questions about enforcement? Contact your unit’s marketing and communications lead or email marylandbrand@umd.edu.
